Artisanum developed a suite of custom plugins to enhance the functionality of the WordPress-based e-commerce website CreamDream. Commissioned by the Ukrainian IT company Internera, the project focused on creating tools to improve customer engagement, incentivize loyalty, and streamline coupon management for an online cosmetics store.

The primary challenge was developing multiple interconnected plugins that delivered seamless functionality while maintaining compatibility with WordPress and WooCommerce. Each plugin required custom logic, from multilingual support for subscription discounts to advanced features like bonus point accumulation and automated coupon generation. Ensuring smooth integration and user-friendly interfaces was key to the project’s success.

We created a custom plugin allowing users to subscribe via email and receive a unique 15% discount code, complete with multilingual support for Russian and Ukrainian users. Another plugin introduced a bonus point system with tiered rewards based on spending, enabling customers to pay with accrued points.
For WooCommerce, we developed a comprehensive coupon management plugin, which included:
- A “Coupon Generation” tab for editing discount settings, expiration dates, and user-specific parameters.
- An “Email Campaign” tab for customizing email themes and previewing layouts.
- A “Users” tab for managing customer details, including birthdate-based promotions.
Additionally, we built a referral system for WordPress WooCommerce, incentivizing customers to invite friends and earn rewards. Each solution was crafted to ensure reliability, scalability, and ease of use.

The implemented plugins provided CreamDream with powerful tools to boost customer engagement and loyalty. The email subscription system drove immediate discount-driven conversions, while the bonus point program and referral system encouraged repeat purchases. The coupon management tools streamlined promotional efforts, empowering the client to maintain efficient marketing campaigns. These enhancements contributed to the overall growth and success of the CreamDream beauty store.
